Best Chinese food on the South Shore

The food was so good.

The best in queens county.

Stopped in to the Golden Pond enroute to Yarmouth, and enjoyed an excellent meal. Bonnie was our server and we thoroughly enjoyed the meal and the surroundings. The staff was gracious and very helpful. Will make it a "must stop" when we travel up to the city to see the kids and grandsons.

Menu is combined with typical Chinese and Canadian entrees. Their selection of Chinese dishes is well rounded and delicious. The Moo Goo Guy Pan and Mushroom Egg Drop Soup is always a favorite for me at this restaurant. Careful, as the soup is always very hot in temperature. Sorry, but have never ordered a Canadian Dish at a Chinese Restaurant!

Good food good prices

Very good food, and service. Fresh and flavourful fair with a good dessert menu. I would go back again.

Service was friendly and fast but the food was a little on the bland side. Seemed too pre-prepared and the sauce was nearly tasteless.

Food very generic. Tasted “out of the box” and used sugar and MSG to compensate for lack of flavour. I went with my family of 6 and everyone ordered something different... all were bad. Went here because of the google reviews, so thought I’d try to help others not make the same mistake. The service and price were great, but they need to work on their flavour.

Perfect service, great Chinese. Harry, the owner makes the best egg rolls you've ever had. I've looked far afield and none cimpare. Also try the egg Foo Young. Unbeatable.

Great service, little wait. The chow main has absolutley no taste but everything else was awesome!

Had the Kung Pao Chicken hot. It was very tasty and had plenty of heat without overpowering the flavours. Atmosphere was cozy and the staff were friendly.

Probably the nicest place in liverpool to have dinner. Super friendly staff amazing food and customer service! Been here everyday the past 3 days and they have never let me down!

Probably the best eggrolls on this end of the province. Excellent service and always delicious food.

Grabbed takeout. Bland. Chow mein tasted like it was cooked in plain water next time I'll try a seafood dish instead - it's what they are known for. But I won't expect authentic Chinese.

This place had a good array of the standard fare of Canadian Chinese food. What stood out was the freshness of the food and the friendly service.

Golden Pond is a great local Chinese Restaurant...The food is comparable and somewhat superior to many other Chinese Restaurants that I have visited. The service is excellent, and staff are gracious and knowledgeable of menu items. Prices are reasonable. Menu has a great variety of items to choose from, and come out from the kitchen in a reasonable time..Can't hurry a good cook. Staff is attentive to all your needs.
